Pelvic Rehab
A non surgical approach to rehabilitation of dysfunctions in the pelvis that contribute to bowel, bladder, sexual health and pain complaints. Approaches may include: a functional movement assessment, manual therapies, modalities, therapeutic exercise, behavioral modifications, education, or functional retraining.
Training: Herman & Wallace Pelvic Rehabilitation Institute Pelvic Floor Function, Dysfunction and Treatment Level 1 and Level 2.
Selective Functional Movement Assessment
A comprehensive assessment used to classify movement patterns and direct manual therapy and therapeutic exercise interventions. Certified since 2/26/2015.
Visceral manipulation
1: gentle manual therapy that assesses the relationships between the viscera (organs), and their fascial or ligamentous attachments to the various systems in the body.
2: assists functional and structural imbalances throughout the body including musculo-skeletal, vascular, nervous, urogenital, respiratory, digestive, eliminatory, neuroendocrine and lymphatic dysfunction
